As I gotten older and wiser I am now fully understanding my self-worth and value as a young woman. Although I am still learning many things about myself as a woman it can be really hard at times making changes within yourself while being in the midst of change. I want to start making healthy changes within myself without compromising my value as a young woman such as setting boundaries with yourself or people you will no longer accept or do. So what does it mean to have self-worth? Self-worth means the sense of one's value or worth as a person says in a article named The importance of self-worth. Finally, I am understanding that I deserve so much better for myself as I start to rebuild a new me. During this process the more that you start growing and evolving as a woman the more you start to feel better about yourself and the decisions you are making for YOU! It can look and feel differently for everyone on their own journey, always do what's best for you! Continue to give yourself grace during the process. One of the things I used to do is compare myself to someone else's journey while diminishing my own self-worth and confidence. It can be hard especially the times we live in with having social media and many people are sharing many glamorous parts of their lives to the world. It could make you feel like you're not doing enough or too little while figuring this thing we call life out. My journey is my journey and not theirs, I am going at my own pace! I am doing my very best. As you are on this journey of self healing and loving the woman God made you to be. Know that you deserve to have the life you want!
