Ciani, When you look in the mirror what do you see? When I look in the mirror I see a woman who’s triumphed and walked with strength when things have become difficult to stand on her own two feet. I finally see Ciani, I see the woman that God has created her to be and all of her beauty. She’s beautiful in every way inside and out! It feels so good to say that!! I love this new version of Ciani. She’s defying the odds, She uses her voice, She is creative, She is very funny, She is loving, But most of all she is resilient. But truth to be told, I did not always appreciate the woman I saw in front of me. But now I do! I don’t think I will ever stop falling in love with the woman God has made me to be. I truly believe that it will be a constant cycle of evolving and growing into the new version of ourselves as women. That is the true beauty of essence, Growth!
Now I look at myself as a caterpillar then morphing into a cocoon who's waiting to be a beautiful butterfly! I am embracing this new woman before me as a breath of fresh air. Although, I am still learning many things about myself on this self-discovery and self-love journey while becoming the woman I want to be. I am learning that it's okay to choose yourself in the process of starting all over again!
When I finally look in the mirror every day I am reminded of God’s Love. To know that I am deserving to live the life that I actually deserve and want. You, my dear, are so deserving to live the life that you dreamt of having. What could that be? I don’t know but it’s up to you to find out. It’s okay to start all over and do it your way! You deserve to be in spaces that feed your soul! You deserve to find hobbies and other interests that make your inner child smile. You deserve to be surrounded by people who actually want to see you win! You deserve to be happy. You deserve it ALL!! So cheers to you becoming the woman you’ve always wanted to be while starting over.
