Dear Diary,

A couple of weeks ago, I came across this photo of me traveling to Las Vegas with my friends three years ago. I cried. While scrolling in my photo gallery of myself smiling. Tears of happiness. I remembered I was going through such a pivotal time in my life! I was going through a lot of change and emotions within myself, and all I wanted to do was smile and feel like myself again. I cried for the woman I was before. She was afraid to embrace change and afraid of the unknown while considering everyone else's opinions more than her own. Somehow she managed to embrace the journey and find herself in the process! I would hug the woman in that photo and tell her, " I love you! Keep going. I am rooting for you!" ( The woman on the other side of fear is rooting for you!) I've always said this before starting my day. I am so glad that God turned all of my pain into a purpose to meet the woman that I am now! She's beautiful in every way and I love her.

Although, I have some ways to go. I am so proud of her! The woman in that photo who was so unsure of herself and what to do next? Now I hold her close and near dear to my heart. I love the woman that I am now, more than I did back then because I didn't cherish nor love her as I should've as I do now. Every day I am loving the woman that I am becoming and figuring out who she is. I love how creative she is. I love how witty and goofy she actually is. I love how unapologetic and loud she can be at times! And I love how she continues to fall in love herself the way God sees her. I don't know what that is? I am still figuring that out. but I love that gworl!

Growth is beautiful! Sometimes it may seem the road ahead is long, messy, and a lot of uncertainty. It becomes beautiful when you start loving parts of yourself that doesn't feel quite as beautiful, but start embracing the beauty of it all. You are beautiful! Whomever may be reading this, you are beautiful. I want you to look at yourself in the mirror everyday and remind yourself, " I am beautiful." I am proud of you and the woman that you are becoming! It takes a lot of strength and courage to do so. But you are doing it and for that I am so proud of you! You are growing each and every day that's the beauty of it. So keep evolving and loving yourself ! Where ever you may be in your own personal journey I will be rooting for you. Always!
